The new academic year has officially begun at New Vision, and our classrooms are once again filled with energy, curiosity, and the joyful voices of children returning to school. With new registrations completed and dedicated teachers welcomed to our team, we are ready to begin another year of learning, healing, and growth.
For many of the children we serve, education is more than lessons and textbooks. Many have experienced displacement and long periods away from school, which can make returning to the classroom both exciting and challenging. Our teachers approach every child with patience, understanding, and care—helping them rebuild confidence, catch up academically, and feel safe and supported in their learning environment.
This year, New Vision is strengthening its approach by working closely with parents and caregivers. We believe that a child’s success is built both at school and at home. Through this new strategy, we are helping families understand the important role they play in their children’s education—from encouraging learning at home to communicating with teachers and participating in school life. Research on refugee education consistently highlights that family engagement, socio-emotional support, and culturally responsive classrooms help children feel a stronger sense of belonging and succeed in school.
At New Vision, we are committed to creating a supportive environment where every child can learn, dream, and thrive. Together with our teachers, families, and community, we are turning a new school year into a new beginning.
