In refugee communities, young girls are often the first to be affected by financial hardship. Faced with economic challenges, many families feel they have no choice but to send their daughters to work, leading to high dropout rates and a loss of educational opportunities.
At New Vision, we believe that education is a girl’s right and a key to her future. To combat these challenges, we are actively exploring and providing opportunities for educational grants specifically for young girls. These grants are designed to support families and keep girls in school.
From 2023 to 2025, New Vision provided grants for over 60 young girls. These grants covered not only their school fees but also essential hygiene kits, addressing a critical need that often prevents girls from attending school consistently.
We understand that girls at this age need unique support from their families and communities to thrive. By investing in their education, we’re not just providing a service; we’re empowering a generation of young women to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
